Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT)

Our most comprehensive form of security training. In a three to five day training, all relevant topics are tought in demanding theory and practice lessons and are accompanied by our trainers and experienced emergency paramedics and psychologists. The training is embedded in a dynamic overall scenario that increases in intensity and complexity.

HEAT (Hostile Environment Awareness Training)

  • Duration: 3-5
  • Basics of travel security
  • Navigation & Communication (map & compass, GPS, coordinate systems, satellite phone, radio)
  • Mine awareness & UXO awareness (explosive ordnance knowledge in theory and practice)
  • Self-protection & behavior under fire (vests & helmets, assessing cover, moving under fire, leaving vehicles, etc.)
  • Trip planning & overland, off-road trips (use of 4×4 vehicles, training of all participants in driving techniques and self-help in the event of technical breakdowns)
  • Behavior in the event of kidnapping/captivity (if desired, a former kidnapping victim can be brought in as a trainer and speaker)
  • Emergency medicine outside the rescue chain (learning intensive care measures to rescue and transport seriously injured patients)
  • Final exercise in a complex scenario

High Risk Awareness Training (HRAT)

Two to three day intensive training. The modular content is designed to address the particular risks in high-risk areas. Together with you, we will create an individual training program derived from our HEAT (Hostile Environment Awareness Training) program.

  • Basics of travel security
