Our CEO in an interview with the AZ Abendzeitung Munich on the threat situation on the occasion of the European Football Championship in Germany against the background of the current Islamist threat:

Before the European Football Championship in Munich, security consultant Axel Wochinger points out an increased risk potential at major events. As the managing director of a company that specializes in risk analysis, Wochinger emphasizes the possibility of further arrests in the run-up to the tournament, as certain people may be planning attacks. The importance of increased attention at such events is emphasized, although 100% safety can never be guaranteed.

Despite the threatening situation, security expert Wochinger considers attending the European Championship games to be unproblematic. “There are no reasons not to watch a good football match.” Ultimately, everyone has to decide for themselves what they expect of themselves. However, a boycott for security reasons would be “inappropriate,” the expert concluded.
